Third edition of the tournament “SPORTING CHALLENGER 2004”, the Men’s International Tennis Tournament ATP, organized by Circolo della Stampa – Sporting from May 24th to 30th with the patronage of Regione Piemonte, Provincia di Torino and Città di Torino.
 
The tournament, belonging to Challenger category with $ 25,000 prize money plus hospitality, will have players with a ranking included between 100th and 250th position.
The Sporting Challenger 2004 this year represents not only the most important appointment with men’s international tennis in Piedmont but also the only one in Turin, since the Challenger $ 100,000 organized until last year by “I Faggi Accademia del Tennis” at Biella has been cancelled.   
 
The tournament has a single and a double draw, the first 32 players, the second 16.
The qualifications will take place on Sunday 23 and Monday 24, starting at 9 a.m., while on Tuesday 25, the matches of the main draw will start.
 
This year like in 2003, there will be also an evening session, with the last match scheduled likely at 8.30 p.m.
Semi-finals on Saturday May 29, finals on Sunday May 30.
 
Admission free throughout the tournament.
